WHO Director-General’s opening remarks at the COVID-19 media briefing– 27 July 2022

In this briefing WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus tells us about Monkeypox, its statistics, measures to be taken to control the spread etc. Mr Tedros also point out the circulation of miss information and disinformation about monkeypox and urges tech companies to curb these issues. Describing how Small pox vaccines could be a temporary relief and the need to engage in further researches, he concludes by saying that countries should come forward and assure the vaccination drive and should also be prepared with vivid plans to handle the transmissive diseases like Covid and Monkeypox.

What areas are included in the critical zone?

AAMI standards require a surgical gown to pass ASTM International F1671 in the critical zones in order to be labeled an AAMI level 4 surgical gown. What areas are included in the critical zone? There are typically four different areas that must pass within the critical zones, including two in the front chest and two on the sleeves. If a product passes ASTM InternationalF1671 in all applicable areas, then it qualifies as an AAMI level 4 surgical gown.
